Special Visitor

For the past few days we've had a very special visitor. Bryony is a friend from England who is going to college here in the states. She found time in her schedule to come down for a few days. She is very brave and took the greyhound bus here! Her family took care of all of us military wives in England so we were so excited that we could (in a very small way) return the favor.

One day we went out to Cliffs of the Neuse state park. Had a great time besides getting eaten alive by mosquito's.

One night we went over to the Strohmeyers pizza and fire. The kids weren't too interested in it but the adults enjoyed it. The guys even put the kids to bed and us girls stayed up talking.

Jacob and his friend James, who is 2 months younger.

Bryony is an art major in college so we took her to help us paint some pottery. Julie was super brave and made some Christmas gifts for the grandparents.

I just had Chase paint a few ornaments.

The little boys under the table during lunch.

Thank you so much for coming! Hope to see you again before too long!

Looks like everyone had a fun visit. Bryony looks great. Hope she was able to take her bike for the college life. Now you have Dad as a visitor. Happy Birthday!! Love, Mom

That was so neat that Bryony could come visit! Looks like you all had a blast! Really enjoyed all the pictures of everyone, and to 'meet' a friend from England. Reminds me of all our college students that we adopt - wonderful experiences.
