Church Farm

It has been so mild here lately so I took advantage yesterday and went to Church Farm with some friends and their kids. Here are the kids checking out the pigs. Chase loved all the animals. I had to remind him at the petting zoo part that not all animals are like Wagner and he can't grab them and try to crawl over them!
The trampolines were ground level - Chase loved that too!
Poor boy is getting tired!

This was right before he took about 5 steps to get to me! Hopefully he will be walking soon!

We didn't even play in the sand pit, tractors or indoor play area. Maybe next time!

Pumpkin Patch

Chase is feeling a little under the weather but we still ran out to the pumpkin patch for a few minutes. It was literally a few minutes as it was cold and windy but we got the few pictures I wanted :) We were using the wrong mode on the camera so almost all the pictures turned out blurry. Still learning how to use it!

I know these aren't in order but blogger is not letting me move them around. Carving the powercat! How about #1 in the Big XII North! We haven't been able to watch a single game this year and a lot of times we don't know the score until we check Sunday morning.
Chase loved the pony ride!

Saturday Morning

I feel the pressure to do something blog worthy this weekend! It is raining now but hopefully we can get out. This morning couldn't get any better, pancakes, pajamas, fire and playing. We are signing Chase's MLB contract tomorrow. Wait do you need be able to walk...we are still getting there. He's started taking a couple steps though so we are making progress!

Dummies

Is two really better than one? This is how I found Chase after crib time this morning. Please ignore the girly dummies. That is why they are his crib dummies!

When daddy doesn't want to grow up...

There is always the potential for disaster, but that's why we love him! By the way, I remember growing up bouncy castles were a big deal. At carnivals and fairs you would have to use 2 tickets to bounce in there for like 2 minutes. The Outdoor Rec. on base rents them out for like $35 a weekend so any event where there is lots of kids - there is a bouncy castle. Kids these days have it made!!

Lefty?

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been enjoying our time at home more which is good for us but not so good for the blog!

At the grocery store today we got a coloring book and firemans hat for fire prevention week. I thought I would see if Chase was ready to color. He's not - he kept eating the crayon, I kept telling him no and he was not listening. So my "fun" activity idea turned into a discpline training session. Anyways he uses both hands for eating and playing but we have noticed that he tends to favor his left and sure enough he picked up the crayon with his left hand for the 5 seconds that he tried to color. I guess we will see!
Thanks to everyone who has participate in my poll. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one who doesn't want spiders in my house. The Brits make me think I am crazy!
