Pool Time

Tomorrow morning mom and dad are leaving to go out of town for a wedding. I get to play with my friend Mollie. Her sister Morgan loves playing in the pool. I tried to play with her but I am not allowed to play in the pool when there are kids so I just get a bucket of water to play with. It is still a lot of fun. I love being around kids. Although when Morgan came over last night dad was playing on the floor with her like he normally plays with me. I got pretty jealous. Mom says I have to get over that because someday they are going to have kids too. But for now I am the spoiled only child!

This is a tribute to my Aunt Kellee who was laid to rest yesterday. Even though I never met her and my mom didn't always get along with her I know she is the reason my mom and dad chose me so I am very grateful. Kellee lived a good life and she will me missed by our entire family.

Happy Anniversary

On Wednesday was three years for dad and mom. Dad gave mom the beautiful flowers and cute puppy card. What a guy my dad is! They went out to a nice dinner then to Walmart. Small town date night. I know they will have many more wonderful years together.

How it all began...

My dad says that my mom can't have a weblog due to the nature of his job. We don't want to have too much personal information out there. Well he never said I couldn't! So I will am taking it upon myself to fill in the updates for this family. You know, I have a good life but I guess I can take a break from staring out the window, laying in the back yard, chewing on my bone, and playing with friends every now and then. Right now in the family it is just dad, mom and me. I am home all day while they are both working. Mom normally comes home and we have lunch together. Well actually she eats, while I watch from the floor. I still haven't figured out why I only get 2 meals a day. The weekends are our family days to sleep in and hang out. It definitely is hot down here in the summer. I keep hearing my parents saying we only have a year left. I guess we will wait and see what happens.
