Chase

Sorry for the lack of posting. Brad takes the computer when he goes out of town which leaves even less of an opportunity to post. I still haven't even posted about Chase's birthday which was in mid July. He started school this past week and is a first grader at Wayne Christian School. He's had a good week although I've learned not to bug him too much for details. If I just listen outside the bathroom when he goes #2 I hear a lot about the day :) We did see his teacher at a church league softball game and he was very excited to see her so I take that as a good sign.

Here are a few pictures from Chase's birthday. Opening our presents on his birthday. He still loves trains so that's what he got.

For his party I reserved the miniature train in town for an hour and we kept that thing running! Everyone rode several times it was a lot of fun. This was the first birthday party that was just for him (we've done joint pool parties the last 2 years) and he did pretty good being the center of attention. We noticed he was guarding his gifts throughout the party and we promised him they would be there at the end for him to open. It was fun seeing his friends from K, neighbors and church friends.

A member of our church is on the Kiwanis club that runs the train so he was the engineer :)

Also loved the going to school picture of Chase and then with Jacob! You've got quite the system to learn about Chase's day without questions - pretty funny.
