Easter and other activities

Back in March was the base crud tournament. Our team won! We finished up after 1am so we were a little exhausted.

We ran a 5k at Chase's school. Here is Chase with a few of his classmates. We are really going to miss the school when we move.

Our friend, Ginger, offered to watch the boys while we ran. It reminded us of our pre-kid days - sigh....

Micah's new trick.

Every now and then Jacob still falls asleep during naps. I thought it was so cute him in the tunnel.

Chase at his easter egg hunt at school.

They had an Easter egg relay so it lasted longer than 10 seconds.

We went up to my parents for Easter because Brad was on call with United.  We participated in the yearly neighborhood egg hunt.

Chase is off! He found the golden egg and got $5!

The grandkids.

Experiencing the ice cream truck. YUM!

Some things you don't have to teach boys - like how to throw rocks in the water.

We stayed in Maryland for Spring Break. We visited the Air and Space Museum.

See you next month!

Another month update

It felt like it had been a while before I posted and I checked the date and I couldn't believe it has been a month! With Brad working so much there is just not much down time. Here are some pictures from the past month.

Jacob and his friend Elizabeth at a birthday party. Elizabeth is in his Wee Wings class.
On an early release snowy day we got free donuts from Krispy Kreme with friends.
Elsa, Olaf and Anna were at the local McDonalds. Jacob had to give each one  a hug :)
Not the best picture but we went to an indoor splash park in a nearby town. Boys loved it!
We went back to Maryland for a long weekend since Chase had a day off school and Brad was on a trip. They had just gotten lots of snow so we went sledding.
We even convinced cousin Kieryn to come down for the day!
Chase went over a big bump sledding and lost his two front teeth. I actually have a video of it and it is so funny (the teeth were loose).
Chase was happy with his $2 the next morning.
We got to celebrate my moms birthday while we were there.
Chase at his school's homecoming.

Getting his medal from his coach.
So proud!
I texted this picture to Brad while he was on a trip and asked how this was our baby?! It's true that the days are LONG but the years are short!

At a squadron Christmas Tree burn.

I posted this on facebook but wanted to remember it here too - Chase wore this for his class pictures. They were scheduled on St. Patricks Day so I just said to wear green and completely forgot. Chase said he was front and center too. Mom Fail!

Treasure Hunt

Didn't get a ton of pictures of our annual Valentines Treasure Hunt but the boys loved it none the less. Well Chase did anyhow.

Reading the clues.

One of the prizes

Chase even made Brad and I a treasure hunt with pictures he drew as the treasure. He did a great job with the clues and was very proud of his pictures!

Ice Day

After a long drive back from Maryland in snowy/icy roads we recovered today with an ice day. We ventured out after naps and the boys really enjoyed it. Even Micah. He lasted longer than I thought.

Loved this one of Brad and his boys.

I was expecting to stay in with this one. Nope - he woke up and saw his brothers outside and was crying to go out. He did great!

Throwing ice.

Eating icicles.

Getting a ride on the boogie board.

Gavin pulling Jacob....

and not getting very far.

Look at that hair!
