Jacob

I think this is a month late but I wanted to post Jacob's stats from his 18 month appointment. He was 26 lbs 14 oz and 33 inches long. Both are the 63rd percentile.

Jacob loves Gavin and tries to be a good older brother. Here's an example of him "helping."

He loves going through daddy's nightstand. This morning he came of the room looking like this...

He is a pretty good sleeper now (took a while) sleeping about 11 1/2 hours a night. He also takes a good nap in the afternoon. He is starting to repeat words we say a lot more and is probably up to over 20 words.

Gavin update

Gavin is almost 7 months now and he had his 6 month appointment just before Christmas. He was 20 lbs 8 oz (88%) and 28 1/2 inches (95%). He seems to be right at where they want him developmentally and was a trooper with shots. He is eating solids 2 meals a day and has become a pooping champ (especially at night -ugh). He still has some nights where he is up every few hours but then he gives me  hope other nights just getting up once for a quick feeding. He will sit up and play with toys for an extended period of time and is generally content during the day.

I thought this was a cute video of him showing a little personality. He was doing this tonight again at dinner and had Jacob and Chase laughing pretty hard. Even though I can be pretty tired during the day, I cherish these moments with my boys.

Christmas at Copps part 2

A couple more pictures from my phone of the weekend at my parents. I like taking pictures on my phone but surely it is easier to upload.

The tumble gym was having open gym on the Friday before we left. We figured we would let them burn off energy for an hour before the car ride. Thanks for the matching shirts Aunt Brandi.

Tiana and Gavin.

I bought a gingerbread train and house for Chase to do. He was kinda interested in the train but Jacob loved it!

My mom was so funny to watch trying to put it together. It was trashed not long after this picture and I don't think Tiana cared!

Playing Uno. Chase really got into the game after they came down for Thanksgiving and he could actually hold his own!

Christmas at Copps

We just got back from the weekend at my parents house and we were able to have a little Christmas with them. Here are a few pictures from the camera. I love taking pictures on my phone but I hate uploading pictures from 2 different sources. Hopefully I will get to other pictures soon.

We had intended to do presents and stuff Christmas morning but there was snow in the forecast so Kevin had to work. I think it was hard on the kids waiting all day to open presents. Brad and I had commented several times how well Chase did on Christmas but it was different on Saturday. He was a lot more selfish. And it was getting late and we were interrupted by poops and feedings and bedtime for the babies. That's why there is no pictures of Gavin!

They look so innocent :)

Had to force Jacob to open a present!
