Pumpkin Patch

While Brad and his brother were off to the KSU vs. TCU football game the women and children decided to head to a pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful fall day and we had a great time.  Picture Credits go to grandma! My phone was full so I'm glad I got a lot of pics from her.

The jumpy pillow.

They all loved doing the duck races.

Riding the Barrel Train.

Getting ready to get the pumpkins.

More slide - it was a favorite.

All tired out - ready to go!

Few Pics

I have the computer tonight so I thought I would post but then I realized I didn't have that many pictures! My phone has had full storage for a while so I haven't been taking many. Here's the few I had though...

We went to a nearby apple festival and ran into my cousin and her family. They came back to our house for lunch. Here I am with her daughter Jane.

Look at that double chin! I wasn't going to order pictures of Gavin so I took pics with my phone but then Brad convinced me to order at least one.

Micah was so tired he was playing like this in the street!

I go to a great workout group at the park - we workout and kids play. One night we decided to actually see each other in normal clothes and went to a craft and wine night. It was a fun girls night!

Brad decided last minute to take Chase to a playoff game. They both had a lot of fun and saw the Royals win!
Well that's all I have - hopefully I'll get some pictures soon from my mother in law of the pumpkin patch fun we went to last weekend. I cleaned up my phone tonight so will hopefully be taking more soon!

Beginning of Fall

We are loving this time of year here in Kansas. Of course we enjoy being close to KSU football, the Royals are in the playoffs,  there's festivals and apple picking, Chase plays in the neighborhood with friends for hours on end. I told Brad that I wish I could freeze time right now. I'm not ready for winter or to move on from this place. I guess I better just enjoy it while I can.
We went to the Chiefs home opener. It was a heartbreaking loss for Chiefs fans. It was my first NFL game. I am not a big Chiefs so I could enjoy it without getting too emotionally involved :)

The Watson's came into town for it. They wanted to see Peyton Manning play.

That's a lot of little boys watching Curious George.

Took advantage of beautiful day to go to a pumpkin patch.
Living in separate states for 2 years now hasn't hurt this friendship!

We love our neighbors!! Stevie is right next door and we have impromptu play and coffee dates and front yard fun.

It is going to be so hard to leave! I don't feel so isolated when there are tons of other stay at home moms around me!

My cousin, Kelly got married to Graham last Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding.

The decorations were amazing. Hard to believe the reception was in a gym.

The girl Copp Cousins. I think we have pictures of us three at all our weddings now :)

My grandparents. They did the dance where all the married couples dance then you slowly leave the dance floor depending on how long you have been married. The last two couples were my grandparents and Kelly's grandparents on her mom's side. It was 61 years for the Romines and 66 for the Copps. What a legacy!

Micah loves Grandad!

A rare picture with my 4th!

Labor Day weekend

We had a busy Labor Day weekend and did a ton of stuff thanks to Grandma and Grandpa! There are several Blue Star museums that offer free admission to military families Memorial Day thru Labor Day. We took advantage and went to the Cosmosphere on Saturday morning without Micah. He just likes to run and makes museums a little difficult.

Chase was studying space in school at the time so he was actually interested in everything. I just finished watching The Astronaut Wives Club on TV so I was actually interested in some things :)

A little blurry (gotta love camera phones).

Astronaut Chase
We then left all the kids and went to Manhattan for the first KSU football game of the season. We met up with Ryan and Jill. Ryan was Brad's college roommate for several years.

Love the new additions to the stadium. Glad KSU came away with a win!

On Sunday after church Grandma and Grandpa took the younger 2 home for naps and we took the older 2 to the Underground Salt Museum.

Of course they loved the train ride!

We got to take home our very own salt.

Big thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the kids so much for us that weekend!!!
